I love hearing founder stories and their journey from idea to success.

Today I had the pleasure of moderating a panel for Amazon AU at the Online Retailer conference in Sydney.

Three incredible women, Lou Rice from Strapsicle, Gabi Saper from CMY Cubes and Laura Klein from Snotty Noses, shared their stories about what has worked for them on Amazon….and some of their war stories.

Prior to the panel I had conversations hearing about how they started their businesses, overcame all manner of challenges, stuck with it and created products that people need and want.

Anyone who can come up with a product idea, get it made, build a brand, handle logistics, promote the product, handle customer service, deal with unethical competition and still make a profit, is very clever. There are so many moving parts, and the ways to succeed are constantly changing.

A very enjoyable day being around people in the eCommerce game.
