To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Amazon Advertising Director to join the team.
Amazon Advertising is exploding. It is now #3 behind Google and Facebook and the gap is closing fast as consumer brands are shifting their spend to Amazon away from Facebook.
If you are a PPC professional, then Amazon this is the new frontier for you to master. The innovation and potential for brands is huge. Also how you integrate Google and Facebook into launches on Amazon provides a 360 opportunity.This role will see you work across a large number of Client Accounts in the USA, Canada, UK, Europe and Australia. Leveraging world-class Artificial Intelligence Software, you will plan and execute the delivery of profit-minded PPC campaigns to meet Client objectives.
The key to this role is being able to take a strategic, commercial and data-driven approach to Advertising management. You will work closely with Clients and our team of Account Directors to provide a high level of Client Service.
This role is supported by an Advertising Manager and an Amazon Account Specialist.
Amazon PPC is an essential part of the marketing mix on Amazon and therefore this role will be critical in driving the success of Client Businesses on the Amazon platform.
We are looking for someone who is results driven, autonomous and growth minded.
We offer a remote working environment where you will have the autonomy to deliver your work with flexibility. You will ideally be based in Australia, or New Zealand, but if not you’ll need to be available for Client Calls during NZ / AU business hours.
Own the Advertising Strategy for all Clients
Understand and be able to communicate the drivers of PPC performance to Clients, making sound recommendations for future actions
Plan and execute Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display Ad Campaigns – leveraging AI software
Stay abreast of emerging Ad Format and targeting opportunities and build these into Client plans where appropriate
Lead the reporting process
Day-to-day management of an Advertising Manager and Amazon Account Specialist
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
2 years of Advertising PPC management experience (Amazon preferred but not essential)
Analytical skills and a solid understanding of the drivers of PPC performance
Knowledge and experience of Amazon Seller Central and Campaign Manager
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders
Client Service experience
High level of organisational skills required to manage work across a large number of Client Accounts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets
Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
Ability to work autonomously in a leadership capacity
Client setup projects being completed on time and on budget
Making sure the client feels good about the process
Month on month growth of Clients Amazon sales
Fast launch of new products
Monthly clients - on budget performance
Monthly reports out within 7 days of month
Keeping abreast of changes in the Amazon marketplace
Proactive and effective communication with the team
Compensation and Work hours
This is a remote based role and you’ll ideally be based in Australia or New Zealand to have time zones align with the majority of our clients and team. Exceptions can be made, but you’ll need to be available for meetings as required in AU/NZ time.
The role is a minimum 32 hours a week, but could be up to full time. The role does allow for flexi hours within some boundaries. Pay rate from $45 per hour, but will adjust to be a match for the right person’s experience & skill.
